The Kraken

The Kraken is a BEAST of MYTHOLOGICAL PROPORTIONS, with a LONG and FASCINATING history, born into Norse folklore. It is most commonly described as a HUGE cephalopod with many STRONG tentacles for wrapping around a ship and PULLING it down to the DEPTHS of the ocean.

What makes the Kraken truly UNIQUE is the fact that even SCIENTISTS see some truth in the stories, as there is true SCIENTIFIC evidence of GIANT SQUIDS in the ocean off the coast of Scandinavia, which could have been more than enough to INSPIRE the stories of the MIGHTY Kraken.

Perhaps there is something EVEN BIGGER out there, but sea water is COLD and I DO NOT LIKE IT. So someone else will have to find that out.
