Mongolian Death Worm

The Mongolian Death Worm is a GIANT, FIERCE beast said to burrow under the sand in the Gobi desert.... It's regularly illustrated as a bright red creature with a circular mouth at one end with sharp teeth, and a ZAPPY thing at the other end. That's right, these BEASTS can spit VENOM and ELECTROCUTE you, what a POWERHOUSE.

Because of its RARITY and LACK of sightings, some have suggested it's MERELY sightings of Dwarf Sand Boas blown out of proportion by repeated retelling. But that's NO FUN. As such, I discredit this theory, and instead support the idea that GIANT, BRIGHT RED WORMS burrow through the desert and eat camels.
